This is the second time our tubes have split and needed to be replaced. Feels like a weak point in an otherwise excellent product.

Spare drain tubes
Very helpful staff member at Rainwater terrace who found me a spare drain tube in green as opposed to the new grey colour. Tube fitted no problem. I just feel the original tube should have lasted longer than a few years and am now wondering if all the other tubes are going to start splitting! It then becomes rather costly.

They split
I have had 4 fail over 2 years and the water contents lost.
This time I have wrapped amalgating tape around the bends in the hope they might last longer

Tubes are tubes.
I assume that they will do the same job as not fitted yet. Wanted a few as standby replacements.

Nice tubes, shame about the colour
The replacement drain tube fits perfectly, to replace one that had brittled with age and use. Only down side is the replacement is grey with blue tap which doesn't look as good as the original green tube against our terracotta water butt.
