Rainwater is diverter into the Rainwater Terrace through a rainwater diverter attached to a down pipe.

Container 1 fills from the bottom and then overflows down the central column to planter tray 1.

Planter tray 1 is filled with water as container 1 overflows, this will water the planters on this level. When the planter tray is full this overflows to fill container 2.

Container 2 fills and then overflows down the central column to planter tray 2.

Planter tray 2 is filled with water as container 2 overflows, this waters the plants on this level.

Container 3 fills and then overflows down the central column back to the drain.
